1 Introduction
Welcome to RollRemit, a financial technology (fintech) platform that provides digital payment services, money transfers, wallet services, and related financial solutions. By accessing or using RollRemit services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. Please read it carefully before using our Service.
2 About RollRemit
RollRemit is a fintech company offering the following services:
Digital wallet services
Local and international money transfers
Bill payments (electricity, water, cable TV, and more)
Airtime and data purchases
Cable TV subscriptions — DSTV, GOtv, Startimes
Business payment solutions
Other financial services as may be introduced from time to time
3 Interpretation & Definitions
Words whose initial letters are capitalised have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether they appear in singular or plural form.
Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest, or other voting securities.
Company (referred to as "We", "Us", or "Our") refers to RollRemit LLC, registered and operating in Nigeria.
Country refers to Nigeria.
Device means any device that can access the Service — computer, mobile phone, or digital tablet.
Service refers to the RollRemit platform, accessible via the website and mobile application.
Terms and Conditions (also referred to as "Terms") means this document, including any materials expressly incorporated by reference, forming the entire agreement between You and the Company.
Third-Party Social Media Service means any services or content provided by a third party that is displayed, included, or linked to through the Service.
You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the legal entity on whose behalf that individual acts.
4 Eligibility
To use RollRemit services, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age. The Company does not permit those under 18 to use the Service.
Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
Not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
Comply with all applicable financial regulations in your jurisdiction.
RollRemit reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements or who misrepresents their eligibility.
5 Account Registration
Users can create an account on RollRemit. When creating your account, you agree to:
Provide correct and truthful personal information.
Keep your login credentials, PIN, and OTP confidential at all times.
Not share your password or one-time passcodes with any third party.
Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
RollRemit will not be held responsible for any losses or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
6 KYC — Identity Verification
To comply with financial regulations and prevent fraud, RollRemit may require you to complete identity verification (Know Your Customer — KYC). You may be asked to submit:
A valid government-issued photo ID
Phone number verification via OTP
Proof of residential address
A selfie or live photo for biometric verification
Accounts that have not completed the required verification may be subject to reduced transaction limits or restricted access to certain features.
7 User Content & Uploads
Users can create, upload, and submit certain content on RollRemit — including KYC documents, profile photographs, and other identity-related materials. By uploading content, you confirm that:
You have the legal right to submit the content.
The content is accurate, genuine, and not fraudulent.
The content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
RollRemit reserves the right to review, reject, or remove any uploaded content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
8 Subscription Plans & Bill Payments
RollRemit offers subscription and bill payment services, including but not limited to:
Mobile data bundles
Airtime top-ups across all major networks
Cable TV subscriptions — DSTV, GOtv, and Startimes
All subscription payments are processed immediately upon confirmation. RollRemit is not liable for service interruptions on the part of the third-party service providers (e.g. DSTV, GOtv, or network carriers). Refunds for subscription services are subject to the refund policy of the relevant provider.
9 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RollRemit for any of the following:
Fraud, scams, or any form of financial deception
Money laundering or proceeds of crime
Financing of terrorism or sanctioned activities
Illegal transactions of any nature
Identity theft or impersonation
Unauthorised or disputed payments
RollRemit may suspend or permanently close accounts found to be involved in suspicious or prohibited activities, and may report such activity to the relevant authorities.
10 Transactions
RollRemit will
Process transactions as instructed by the user
Send notifications upon successful payment
Apply transaction limits where required by regulation
You are responsible for
Confirming all recipient details before sending
Ensuring accuracy of account numbers and amounts
Reviewing transaction details at the confirmation screen
RollRemit is not liable for financial losses arising from incorrect information provided by users. Transactions confirmed by the user are final and may not be reversible.
11 Fees & Charges
RollRemit may charge applicable fees for the following:
Transfer fees (local and international)
Withdrawal fees
Currency conversion charges
Service or platform fees
All applicable charges will be clearly disclosed to you before you confirm a transaction. By confirming, you consent to the stated fees being deducted from your transaction or wallet balance.
End-to-end encryption for data in transit and at rest
One-Time Password (OTP) authentication for transactions
Automated fraud monitoring and anomaly detection systems
You are equally responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must:
Keep your PIN and passwords strictly confidential
Report any suspicious activity or unauthorised access immediately to hello@rollremit.com
Never allow unauthorised persons to access your device or account
13 Intellectual Property
The RollRemit name, logo, brand identity, platform design, software, and all associated content are the exclusive property of RollRemit LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of our content or trademarks without our prior written permission. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property is a violation of these Terms and applicable law.
14 Service Availability
RollRemit endeavours to maintain continuous, uninterrupted access to its services. However, we cannot guarantee availability at all times due to circumstances including:
Scheduled or emergency maintenance windows
Technical failures or infrastructure outages
Network or telecommunications provider issues
Regulatory requirements or government-mandated actions
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.
15 Third-Party Links & Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by RollRemit. We have no control over — and assume no responsibility for — the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
We strongly advise you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party website or service you visit through our platform. Your use of any Third-Party Social Media Service is governed solely by that service's own terms and policies.
16 Suspension & Termination
RollRemit may suspend or permanently terminate your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Suspected fraud or financial crime
Provision of false or misleading information
Breach of any part of these Terms and Conditions
Requirement by law, court order, or regulatory authority
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also voluntarily close your account at any time by contacting our support team.
17 Limitation of Liability
Notwithstanding any damages you might incur, the total liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of these Terms shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you through the Service, or 100 USD if you have not made any purchase through the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
Network delays or banking system failures
Errors or losses resulting from information provided by users
Force majeure events beyond RollRemit's reasonable control
Unauthorised access resulting from user negligence
Loss of profits, data, or business interruption
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In those jurisdictions, each party's liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
18 "AS IS" & "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer
The Service is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" with all faults and defects, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company expressly disclaims all warranties — whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, the Company makes no representation that the Service will meet your requirements, be error-free, operate without interruption, or that any defects will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
19 Privacy & Data Protection
RollRemit respects user privacy and handles personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Nigerian data protection regulations. Your data may be collected and used for the following purposes:
Identity verification and KYC compliance
Transaction processing and account management
Fraud prevention and security monitoring
Regulatory compliance and legal reporting obligations

20 Compliance & Regulation
RollRemit operates in full compliance with applicable financial and regulatory frameworks, including:
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws and guidelines
Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations
All other relevant national and international financial regulatory requirements
21 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, excluding its conflict of law provisions. Your use of the Service may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws depending on your jurisdiction.
22 Disputes Resolution
If you have any concern or dispute about the Service, you agree to first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting the RollRemit support team directly. We are committed to addressing concerns in good faith and in a timely manner.
23 For European Union (EU) Users
If you are a consumer residing within the European Union, you will benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, regardless of any conflicting provisions in these Terms.
24 United States Legal Compliance
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that: (i) you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo, or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
25 Severability & Waiver
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified and interpreted to accomplish its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
Except as provided herein, a party's failure to exercise a right or require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not affect that party's ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter. A waiver of a breach shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
26 Updates to These Terms
RollRemit reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect — for example, via an in-app notification or email to your registered address.
By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the Service.
